Joyseat - how it works
(A) Extra detail
Each saddle is unique. To make it really stand out, we've added a detail for which you can choose your preferred colour.
(B) 3D printed padding
The Joyseat Lattice Structure is a unique flexible structure made on an industrial 3D printer from thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). This technology allows precision manufacturing and full customization of individual saddle zones.
(C) Perfectly stiff shell with "No Pressure" cut-out
Our carbon composite layering system ensures the cohesion and optimum stiffness of each saddle shell. Based on your riding discipline and your butt imprint, we'll select a shell, which we then combine with the Joyseat Lattice Structure so each saddle is uniquely created based on your personal parameters. In addition, the shell has an original "No Pressure" cut-out tailored to your individual needs.
(D) Oval carbon rails with full carbon fiber composition
The rails are the cornerstone of the entire Joyseat saddle. The full carbon fiber composition guarantees extreme durability even under abnormal loads.
Weight and dimensions (each saddle has unique parameters specific to each cyclist, therefore the values below are in intervals):
- Weight: 170 - 210 g (the final weight of the saddle is determined by the individual parameters of the rider, saddles for road bikes are usually in a lower weight category than those focused on recreational riding on an electric bike)
- Length: 262mm (just right)
- Width: 136 - 162 mm (the final width of the saddle is derived from the width of the rider's sit bones)
- Rails: 9 x 7 mm (full, oval)
- Recommended maximum load capacity: 90 kg
- 3D prined layer: TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane)
- Shell and rails: carbon (carbon-fiber-reinforced polymers)
Road to Joyseat
A saddle that fits your sit bones precisely helps to prevent health complications and promotes proper blood flow in the soft tissues.
We have developed the Joyseat saddle with respect to the individual human anatomy for cyclists of all performance categories and for most types of bicycles.
We have carefully optimized the materials, fully customizable shape, firmness and dimensions of the Joyseat saddle for maximum comfort to improve your overall riding experience.
Joyseat is the culmination of nearly two years of development and testing in the lab and out in the field. University scientists, bike fitters, experts in advanced materials and human biomechanics were all involved in the development.
From the very beginning, we did not want to be dependent on supplies from abroad. The entire product development, all production and assembly takes place in the Czech Republic.
Local production, short supply chains and the chosen manufacturing process allow Joyseat saddles to be made directly to order. Our warehouse is not full of pre-made materials that sit and collect dust waiting to find a home.
