Saddle Customization, Made Real
Every rider is different. That’s the point. Do a sit-bone measurement, share your data, and you’re done. We turn it into a saddle built for how you actually load it.
See custom in action. Slide your sit-bone width, pick your position, and watch saddle width + pressure map update in real time.
Every custom saddle comes with a Saddle Birth Certificate.

Behind the scenes, we run the full pipeline: inputs → algorithm → 3D model → custom padding. Here’s the full process — step by step.
Step One: Your Data
You bring the facts. We do the wizardry.
12 + 1 input parameters →
12 + 1 inputs describe how you ride and what you need. Together they shape the saddle width, shape, and support — without forcing you into stock sizes.
Plus your butt imprint →
Meet the Smiling Butt Kit. You make a quick imprint at home, send us the photos, and we extract your sit-bone width with 1 mm precision using photogrammetry. Call it input #13. It’s kind of a big deal.
Step Two: Our Algorithm
Custom is a science.
The 3S System →
We use parametric modeling. It lets us generate endless precise variations from your inputs — all computed to put support where you need it and take pressure off where you don’t.
Step Three: A Digital Model
One file. One very personal result.
A model as unique as you are →
Your saddle becomes a unique 3D model (STL) with our patented mesh. Mesh density, struts, shape, and firmness zones are tuned from your data.
See it in a real certificate →
See the exact data and visuals customers receive with their Joyseat — and how to read them.
Step Four: Custom 3D-Printed Padding
Where it becomes rideable.
From computer to the physical world →
This is where things take shape. An industrial 3D printer turns ~60 MB of data into ~80 g of custom padding — then it’s checked and paired with the saddle base.
Made to last for years →
Finished by hand with premium European-sourced materials — built to last for years.
Custom, Not “Custom-Ish.”
Most 3D-printed saddles offer presets. Joyseat is generated from your inputs and your imprint — width, shape, and support zones included.

Custom vs Semi-Custom vs Mass-Produced 3D-Printed Saddles
| Feature | Posedla Custom Saddles | Semi-Custom Saddles | Mass-Produced Saddles |
|---|---|---|---|
| Width Options | Fully custom (130–170 mm in 1 mm increments) | Predefined range of 2 widths | Only limited options (up to 3–4 sizes) |
| Shape Variability | Tailored to individual anatomy and riding style | Select presets available to choose from | Fixed shapes available to choose from |
| Stiffness Tuning | Personalized zone-by-zone stiffness based on rider data | Pressure-mapped adjustments | Uniform stiffness is mostly the case |
| Fitting Process | Remote fitting via Smiling Butt Kit and configurator | In-person fitting required | No online or in-person fitting required |
| Accessibility | Available online, worldwide delivery | Limited to select locations | Availability via retailers, dealers or online |
