From an Idea to a fully functioning product
According to our research, in the Czech Republic alone, up to 44% of both male and female cyclists experience significant discomfort in the saddle region. The anatomy of the perineum is unique to the individual, yet traditional saddles are only offered in 2-3 different widths options. That is why we developed a fully customizable saddle that respects the unique anatomy of each rider, so you don't have to go through the trials and errors of incorrect saddle selections.
Use of 3D printing
By using industrial 3D printing and, specifically, Multi Jet Fusion (MJF), we can print the thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) structured padding to the exact precisions needed. This specially developed lattice structure then helps achieve the required firmness and zonality, which is crucial for producing a bespoke saddle. Lastly, it is vaporised. This vaporisation ensures the durability and resistance of the saddle and creates the saddle's required amount of grip.
We use highly durable & extremely lightweight materials, which allows us to produce world-class saddles. The saddle consists of 3 parts. The shell and the rails are made using a process ensuring the highest quality carbon fibre-reinforced polymer (CFRP). The 3D-printed TPU padding with very high elasticity, shock absorption, and mechanical resistance is then applied to the carbon fibre shell to complete the saddle.
To make sure the saddle meets all of our desired expectations, we are constantly testing and reiterating. Under the guidance of experienced bike fitters and the use of pressure mapping technology, we have collected and analysed tons of data. Simultaneously we have recorded our rider feedback to ensure the product impacts the contact points correctly.
